Brisbane River
The Brisbane River hosts around 10 rowing events each year. These consist mainly of head racing and also time trial style events. These events are usually held upstream of the Eleanor Schonell Bridge to avoid the busier reaches of the river and interactions with large commercial vessels such as CityCats.
The course and specifics for events held on the Brisbane River differ with each event and take into consideration safety, fairness and interest. The best way to stay up to date with Brisbane River rowing events is through our regatta calendar.
